InterNations New Year's Event: Skiing, Sledge, Wine and Fondue

Dear InterNations members,

after a lot of fun the last 2 years we have the pleasure
to invite you again to a perfect weekend in the Swiss Alps in Les Diablerets !

We will go skiing, have a delicious fondue on the mountain top, enjoy some good wine and go on a sleigh ride at night with hot wine and then proceed to our private party with DJ – all this at a 3 or 4-star hotel.

1. This is the HOTEL deal:

-Starting on Friday January 14th until Sunday January 16th, 2011

-Hotel Diablerets****: Single CHF 135.-/double-twin CHF 105.- per pers. incl breakfast. (89 EUR/ 69 EUR). Prices are per night.

-Hotel Chamois***: Single CHF 110.-/double-twin CHF 75.- per pers. incl.breakfast. (73 EUR/49 EUR). Prices are per night.

-Friends can join for the double/twin rooms.

-You can either arrive on Thursday, Friday or even Saturday.

2. The FUN, FONDUE and SLEDGE package. (See prices Cover Charge)

Including: – Welcome Meet Up on Friday: wine (2 glasses guaranteed then depending on stock,or 2 soft drinks) and tapas (swiss specialities from the region like cheese and ham) for everyone. Saturday: Après-ski on Cham s bar terrasse with sparkling wine for everyone: – Lift to the restaurant on mountain top at 19:00 to have a delicious FONDUE with half a bottle of wine (2-3 glasses). After this we will go on a SLEDGE Ride down the mountain (6 km). – Hot Wine at the arrival. – Saturday evening at Cham’s Disco Party – private with our own DJ.

- The price is CHF 160,- p.p.(117 EUR) for Basic members, Albatross members enjoy a reduced price of CHF 140,- p.p. (102 EUR).

As seats are limited, we will give them away on a first come, first serve basis. Each member can buy several tickets but only one Albatross ticket.

3. The SKIING Package:

-Ski pass for 2 days: CHF 89.- per person. (58 EUR)

-The 2 day ski pass includes these four areas: Glacier 3000, Diablerets, Villars, Leysin, Les Mosses

-Note: You can only benefit of the reduction on the skiing pass if you stay at the hotel and take part in our Fun, Fondue and Sledge package.

For a ski teacher please check with the reception and announce very early.

-If you don’ t want to ski you can go for a walk or use the SPA facilities. In this case you don’ t need to buy the ski pass. The rest is a package price.

-You will receive a brochure with further information in your room upon arrival.

4. Confirmation

For proper planning, it is very important that attendees effectively show up. Therefore the participation fee needs to be paid beforehand using the online ticketshop. It’s easy, secure and only takes you a minute!

Please make your payments to the ticket-shop no later than Thursday January 13th, 2011. Please also note that we cannot make any refunds should you decide to cancel your attendance.

To participate please pay per PAY PAL and, most importantly, CONTACT the Hotel to reserve your room. Ask for the InterNations package!

-If you want to arrive a day earlier or stay a day longer, you are welcome.

5. How to get there

-Everyone has to take care of getting there individually

-If you are coming from outside Switzerland best is to fly to GVA and then take the train. Bern or Zürich are a bit farer away. From England there is as well a connection to SION in winter.

-Prices for the train from Bern and Zürich to SION start at 57 CHF/ 90 CHF one way
