InterNations Amman January Get-Together

Happy New Year, Amman expats and global minds!

It’s time to shake off those wintry blues, and get together for
some fun at Indochine and JJ’s in the Grand Hyatt Amman.
When we checked out the place, we were impressed by the
creative layout, the service, and perhaps most importantly – the
music! JJ’s has a DJ every night who plays good dancing music to get everyone boogying.

Clear your calendars for Friday, January 27th. The night will start with delicious Vietnamese dinner at 6:30 pm at Indochine, and once we are stuffed we will head next door (literally across the hall) around 9 to JJ’s for drinks and conversation, as well as to burn off some of the newly-acquired calories on the dance floor!

Indochine has prepared a delicious set menu, which you can peruse in the photo section. In Vietnamese tradition, the food is served family style per every 4 people, so you will get to sample everything on the menu. They have assured us that no one will leave the restaurant still hungry! The set menu is normally 30 JD, but they have offered us a 20% discount, which brings it to 24 JD per person for dinner. The same 20% discount applies to drinks in JJ’s later. This discount is ONLY available for members who sign up for the event and have a printed name tag, which will be given to you at the event. Make sure you click the Attend Event button to get the discount!

Remember that you can bring as many friends as you like, but please let us know in advance so that we can give an accurate count to the venue. JJ’s will arrange the appropriate number of servers based on the number we give them the day before, so we need to give an accurate number to avoid slow service! If you are bringing friends who are not already members, make sure they sign up quickly to take advantage of the discount and to be included in our community for the future.

As usual, please make sure to dress smart or casual-smart. As for single local men, please let us know in advance that you are coming so that we can put your name on the door for you to come in.

Also, let me ask you all to put extra effort in meeting and welcoming new attendees. This is part of the IN legacy; connecting people together and bringing them closer to each other.
