InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Haiti

Hello to all Americans in Haiti! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Haiti? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Haiti which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: living on the tropical island of Haiti will provide you with a unique expat experience. The “Land of High Mountains” is a small, tropical city known for its breathtaking beaches, crystal blue waters, old forts, museums, and much more! With the colorfully painted buses, pick-up trucks, and minivans, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the rural areas, which are just a short journey away from Haiti’s center.

Although Haiti has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Haiti, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
