The UNESCO World Heritage Site is a historical city known for its architectural landmarks, reputation as the capital of gastronomy in France, significant role in the history of cinema, and much more! With the public transit system, consisting of the metro, tramways, and buses, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in Saint-Fons or Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d'Or, for example, which are both less than a 30-minute public transportation journey away from Lyon’s center.
