Stamford is one of the largest cities in Connecticut, and is one of the major economic centers in the area outside of New York due to the large presence of the finance industry in the city. Known as the 'city that works', there is plenty to offer expats living in Stamford. Some of the city's most popular attractions include the Stamford Museum and Nature Center which includes works by Gutzon Borglum, Cummings Park which is a large public beach, as well as others such as Cove Island Park, the Stamford Center for the Arts and many others.
