InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Toronto

Hello to all Americans in Toronto! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Toronto? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Toronto which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Toronto makes sure to live up to its motto of “Diversity Our Strength”. The provincial capital is a very cosmopolitan city known for its numerous galleries, museums, and theaters, its international vibe and multicultural residents, the easy access to nature, and much more! With the comprehensive if somewhat antiquated transportation network of subway, bus, and streetcar lines as well as the Toronto Island ferries, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the municipalities of the Greater Toronto Area, which are an easy commute away from Toronto’s center.

Although Toronto has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Toronto, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
