With the waterbuses and train and bus services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the more residential areas, e.g. on the small neighboring islands, which are a short waterbus ride away from Venice’s center.
