Living in Warrington

Warrington is a large town located in Cheshire, and has the benefit of being closely located to some of the UK’s major cities such as Liverpool, Chester and Manchester. Warrington has a long history dating back to the Romans, and is often known as "The Wire", because of its history as a center for steel production. Expats living in Warrington will be able to explore the area’s many sights and attractions including Norton Priory Museum and Gardens as well as the Gulliver's World Theme Park, which is located in Old Hall. Other local entertainments which expatriates living in Warrington will be able to enjoy include live music and theater as well as annual festivals such as the Croft Carnival, the Stockton Heath Arts Festival and the Glazebury Gala. Warrington also offers a number of shops, restaurants and bars providing plenty of retail and leisure opportunities.
