InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Zagreb
Hello to all Americans in Zagreb! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Zagreb? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Zagreb which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st￭ turkey?
There’s no doubt about it: although Zagreb may not be the obvious choice for expats, the underrated European capital has something for everyone. The Croatian capital is a diverse city known for its high quality of living, museums, sporting and entertainment events, and much more! With the network of trams and buses, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in Novi Zagreb or Trešnjevka, which are approximately a 40-minute or 25-minute public transportation journey away from Zagreb’s center.
