Service & Co. are recruiting tour guides for Aarhu (Aarhus)

Are you fluent in German, French, Italian or Spanish, and are you interested in the history and culture of Aarhus and able to communicate your knowledge to a group, you may be the one we are looking for!

Due to an increasing number of cruise ships visiting Aarhus, Service & Co. are looking to hire more city guides to welcome tourist to our beautiful city and surroundings.

The right candidates will receive the necessary training at a free, mandatory course (in English) in Aarhus on April Protected content . Once you have completed the course, you are ready to start working as an Aarhus city guide from May Protected content .

The job
As a guide in Aarhus, you will be showing around groups of tourist in Aarhus and its surroundings - leaving them with smiles on their faces and knowledge on specific sights and cultural landmarks. You plan your own tours in advance according to the wishes of your group.

Your qualifications
- Besides English, you must be fluent in one or more of the following languages: German, Italian, French, and Spanish
- You are interested in Danish history and culture. Either you know a lot about Aarhus or you have the desire and ability to read up on the topic
- You are outgoing and are able to comfortably communicate to large groups of people
- You live in or close to Aarhus

Terms and conditions
Once hired, you will be able to sign up for tours in our internal booking system, depending on your qualifications and language skills. We cannot guarantee a fixed number of tours, but will always attempt to favor competent guides evenly.

As an Aarhus city guide, you will be booked and paid by the hour. Usually, our guided tours last anywhere from one hour to half a day.
