Handball Initiations - Every Tuesday at 7.30pm (Abidjan)

Hi everybody.

As you may have noticed I often (who said always) wear tshirts and polos with a map of Africa on which is written "Daouda Karaboué Handball Cœur Afrique". Actually it's the logo of an NGO founded by the French national team goalkeeper.

The goal of this NGO is to promote the sport of Handball in Ivory Coast and we are currently working on a project to bring Handball in primary schools in Abobo, Adjamé, Yopougon, Port Bouet, Bingerville...

To do so we have just hired ten players from the national team and we will send them to schools around Abidjan at the beginning of the new term.

The good news is that these ten players are currently taking lessons at the INJS in Marcory and they have accepted to conduct Handball Initiations at the Stade Champrou every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The goal will be to have fun while learning and playing Handball so if you're keen to do some sport in the evening do not hesitate to join us. Male or Female. Beginners, Intemediate or Experts. Everybody is welcome!

WHEN: Every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm
WHERE: Stade Champrou in Marcory
Who: Anyone keen to do some sport in Abidjan

These initiations will be starting Tuesday the 20th of September and will last until the end of October (or more if we have enough people interested in continuing when the national team players have resumed school).
