Lecture Series, Event 13.5.16 : "Preparing a Business to Export"

With a market of more than Protected content people and representing 20% of worldwide trade, the European Union is the largest economy in the world. But what does it take to export to the European Union? What are the challenges faced by businesses and how can they be overcome?

What: Speaker Peter van Gilst, regional Africa coordinator for the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs discusses the requirements and demands for businesses wishing to export to the EU. The event will be held in French.

This event will be introduced by Professor Soumaila Dabonne, director of the Centre de Formation Continue of the University Nangui Abrogoua in Abidjan. Peter van Gilst will hold a 15 minute presentation, followed by a 45 minute question and answer session.
