Cancelling residency visa (Abu Dhabi)

Hello Expats! I have left the UAE for an interview in the states. I am on a residence visa through my wifes company. (she is the sponsor) I need to cancel my visa without returning to the UAE or mailing my passport to them. I need my passport for my next assignment. Any help is appreciated.
