Family Visa (Abu Dhabi)

I am moving to Abu Dhabi in early August. I have an infant, so I need to bring my family with me at the same time I arrive. We are US citizens and my company told that although they prefer that I leave them in the US for 30 days, I could bring them with me and they could get a visitor visa. Does anyone know for sure if this is possible? I thought it wouldn't be a problem because I read that I can pay a fee to swap out their visitor visa to my residency visa, but then I saw on the UAE embassy website that they need a round trip ticket to get a visitor visa. My company is buying us one way tickets. Any advice is appreciated!
