Kayak this Friday (Abu Dhabi)

If anyone is interested will a kayaking outing Abu Dhabi. There will be 1 and 2 place kayaks available. kayaking tours of approx 1.5 long in the beautiful Abu Dhabi Mangroves. The typical tours in the morning 9am, 12 pm/3pm afternoon but if it’s too hot we can go in the evening for sunset kayaking!. We will launch from the Eastern Lagoon Mangroves from the Corniche.
This is the more rustic “enjoying the great outdoors” option and offers a visit to the more serene Eastern Lagoon Mangroves near the E48 Substation on Al Salam St. The Mangroves here are many and cover a vast area with lots of side channels to venture into & explore (tide levels permitting). However there is no changing/shower facilities on site so bring a towel to dry yourself off before getting into your car. Protected content

The timings of the tours are approximate and will depend on the tide levels, the wind & weather conditions. We always endeavour to check the weather and tides to ensure a pleasant kayak experience for all. The low tide allows us to see more birds, crabs and fish prevalent in the area, whereas the high tide tour allows you to venture deeper into the mangroves.

There will be a briefing on the importance of the Mangroves and tuition on Kayaking for all session
