Living in Al Ain help! (Abu Dhabi)

Hello,
I will be shortly moving to Al Ain in August but I would like some help. Where would the cheapest place to shop for groceries, places to avoid and places that I definitely need to visit. There will only be me living in Al Ain and I have no idea what to expect.
