Moving to Abu Dhabi

I am jordanian am moving to Abu dhabi at the end of this month , I lived most my life in Australia and UK . It will be my first experience living in Gulf country and I heard its expensive. well I checked all comments and it seems nice city once you get used of it. I am totally alone and I dont know any body down there and I hope to catch up with some nice friends. Also I would love to know more about Abu dhabi !!! I am totally nervous and bit worrry about moving on and I would appreciate any tips .
