Residence visa ban (Abu Dhabi)

Hi everyone!

Not sure if this is the right forum but I recently got my residence visa rejected in Abu Dhabi. I was offered a job for a British company in the oil and gas sector. I have been a Swedish citizen for 20 years, moved to Stockholm as a kid and grew up here. But born in Bangladesh which is stated in my Swedish passport.

Apparently there is a visa ban for Bangladeshi nationals but is it based on origin as well? And is it all over UAE? Any suggestions on how to solve the problem?
