Teenage Son (Abu Dhabi)

I have been offered a position in AD, starting in July and need to make some decisions before making the move. We (my wife and son; 15 and I) are South Africans currently living in Ireland. Our decision is do we all move together or do I move alone and travel back to Ireland on a regular basis.

I don't really want to live apart from my family, but also do not want to make life very difficult for my son. If anyone has recently moved to AD with teenage kids, I'd love to hear how they got on.

Also, given the time of year we are looking to move, what are my chances of getting him into school, or what other options are there?
