UK Income Tax Rules for Expats living in the UAE (Abu Dhabi)

Hello,

I'm currently looking for work in the UAE and am finding it difficult to understand exactly how HMRC tax British ex pats in the region.

I understand I would pay Protected content / year in tax to the UAE.

My question is, what would I have to to to pay no UK tax at all?
Do I have to be out of the UK for a continuous minimum period?
Do I have to be out of the UK for more than 90 days in the UK tax year?

Can anybody recommend a website or official source who can advise on this?

If you are a UK National working as an employee in a full time role within the UAE could you share your own experience?
