Seeking apartment (Abuja)

Hello, I will be moving to Abuja in the next two months, and I want to know what the best way is to find an apartment. Would a real estate agent be wise or contact property owners directly?
Also, I will only be in Abuja working for 6 months. Are there any apartments that can be rented under a 6 month contract?
