British International School (Accra)

Hi All,
My family and I are moving to Accra within the next few weeks and I am trying to organise visits to International Schools, that are following the U.K. curriculum. Does anyone have any advice, opinions, experience with the British International School or would recommend the best school in Accra.
I would also like some advice on housing. I am looking for somewhere where our children can play outside with other kids. I don't want my children to lose social interaction by being penned up inside our compound. Can anyone recommend communities in and around Accra.
