Considering relocation in Accra

I am Nathalie, a Belgian Lady who is living in the UK for the last 10 years.
I have started negotiation with a company for a potential work in Accra ( it would also require extensive travel in rest of Africa)
I am very excited by this opportunity and will come to visit that company Mid April to discuss it more details and have a first " flavour" of the work and life in Accra.
I have read a lot on internet for the last 2 weeks and would appreciate you share with me your view and experience.... My main question is - do you believe it is safe for a single woman and what are the main points to consider in these circumstances.
