Malaria (Accra)

Hi, My husband and I will be moving to Ghana at the end of May Protected content our daughter who at that time will be about 15 months old. My husband and I have lived in malaria areas before but now that I am a mother I have new concerns. Of course talking with doctors in Australia they are in a panic about us taking a baby into a malaria zone. Does anyone out there have young children and if so what has your experience been with malarai? We will be living in a mining compound and have access to 3 doctors (from Ghana who have been trained in the UK).
