Moving to Accra in March

Dear All,
I am probably be moving to Ghana in March of this year. I will do a reackon trip in 3 days staying there for 4 days. Could anyone let me know what are the pros and cons of Accra? My family will be joining me me at the end of school term (June). My Main concern honestly is security but I will discuss this with the company. Any other things I should be aware of? What is lacking there?, the do's and don'ts?
