Job Information: Our client, an organisation that provides turnkey rental solutions for energy supply and temperature control are looking for a Regional Sales Executive for a permanent position. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for acquiring new business opportunities in the Ghana Region and specifically to build and maintain a strong network and portfolio of customers so that International Power Projects are identified and secured. Together with the International Projects (IP) Sales organization and strategic partners, you will play an important role in the exploration, expansion and growth of the market and also define the commercial strategy in the region in tandem with the IP Director Sub- Saharan Africa and his team. Develop and execute a Sales Strategy Plan for securing IP Projects in West Africa. Identify, develop and maintain relationships with an agreed portfolio of customers including key personnel in mother company’s dealerships. Acquire new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison. Provide adequate and timely reports (financial, timesheets, etc.) and input for the sales forecast regarding assigned strategic accounts. Provide input into marketing initiatives related to customer acquisition and execute marketing programs and participate in Sales Activities in other parts of the globe, from time to time.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or at least a proven track record showing experience that equals an electrical degree. Have vast experience and in-depth knowledge in the energy, utilities and/or mining industry and working with Power Projects. Fluency in spoken English & French language is a must. Be able to work independently without supervision coupled with excellent, influencing and relationship building skills. Should be effective at project management and understand marketing principles. Excellent selling, communication and presentation skills are required and as well as good organizational skills and attention to detail. Good understanding / knowledge of Profit & Loss accounting. Must possess good organizational skills and attention to detail and product knowledge is a must
