Weekends away and TV options (Accra)

Hi All,
I have been in Ghana for a couple of months now although I have been travelling a lot so have not really settled into Accra yet. That will come after Christmas when I finally move into my permanent apartment in Villagio Vista. I have just found out that the gym in my block is closed for an extended period which they didnt tell me...sigh.
Anyway, I need some advice on a couple of things please:
Firstly, I would like to spend the odd weekend out of Accra, for example at a beach hotel. I would welcome any suggestions where would be good to visit with reasonable hotels.
Secondly, I am trying to understand the options for TV in Ghana. DsTV seems to be a given but I would rather like access to UK TV too. Any advice on this topic would also be welcome.
