Work in Ghana (Accra)

To All,

I have signed a contract in Tullow Oil Ghana Limited last July 24, Protected content . I'm just curious if anyone heard about this company. I payed $390 and $420 for my immigration documents and travel ticket. The company had promised me no more payment to be made. But I received an email that I need to pay $910 for insuranse. Is this a normal practice in ghana? I have a feeling that I was a victim of scam.
