Tomorrow will be a sunny day, so let's go out for a hike!

I grew up in Ahrensburg just outside of Hamburg. Most people do not know its beautiful landscape, so let me show you some of the hotspots: a forest that once featured a robber-knight's castle, a bog (via a pedestrian bridge!), open farmland with windswept trees and a nice lake.

We'll walk about 12 km from Ahrensburg to Volksdorf. Please bring good shoes - we will walk on side streets and good paths, but the ground is often muddy. Trust me, I grew up there. :)

If you want to come by car, you can make it a round trip by using the train.
