Mozart's Requiem by OCNE (Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España)
The Requiem is one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's most performed works. It is curious that this piece has become so well known without being a finished creation of the Austrian composer. There are many myths around this work: a strange messenger who made the request or a dying Mozart working tirelessly on the composition until his last moments .
While it is true that Mozart left many parts incomplete, the musician in charge of completing the Requiem was his disciple Franz Xaver Süssmayr. But the great success of the masterpiece would not have been possible without the inspiring outline of the great master, Mozart.
We will have the chance to enjoy this wonderful piece once more, in this occasion performed by the excellent Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España, in a very special circumstance: the 50th anniversary of the choir ( Protected content ), in a four-handed piano accompaniment version by Carl Czerny.
Tickets can be bought at the following link, and I would encourage you to buy them as soon as possible, as availability is limited.
