The grandest Chinese temple in Malaysia
During the Chinese Ghost Month (the seventh lunar month of Chinese Lunar Calendar), this loveliest of temples offers Chinese opera.
Even if you can't go to this partiular evening event, I highly recommend that you visit the temple either alone or with friends (during the day). Ancester lineage (more than one clan) at the temple can be traced back Protected content ago and it's right in the centre of the heritage area and only just round the corner of the Sun Yat Sen museum. Normal admittance is pittance and it has a very well curated musuem...a small shop for drinks, postcards and iced lollies.
IF you have visitors, this is a great way to see local culture and it's free entry (only for this event)!
