Let’s Celebrate the Annual Nagar Kirtan in Southall
Are you a Londoner who has never experienced a traditional Sikh religious procession in the heart of the city?
Join me in celebrating the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, revered as “Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj” and “Jagat Guru” (meaning “Teacher of the World”). This vibrant procession, known as Nagar Kirtan, features hymns (kirtan) sung in praise of God and is a cornerstone of Sikh culture.
Come along to experience the rich culture and welcoming atmosphere of the Sikh community right here in London, without the need to travel to India.
