Brussels Shakespeare Summer Festival

The second Shakespeare Summer Festival will take place in Brussels from Protected content , and what a lineup we have this year!
Headlining the Festival will be the infamous Scottish Play - MACBETH
As support acts there will be three one-act plays:-
'Shortly To Go' by Ilias Konteas and Dimitrios Stasinopoulos - debuted at FEATS Luxembourg Protected content week, directed by Tim Myers.
'Yellow' by Geoffrey Mamdani - debuting on Monday 6th June.
'Will.I.am am I?' by Stephen Challens - debuting on Monday 6th June, directed by Guillem Chevalier.
After over two years of pandemic-induced isolation, the Brussels Shakespeare Society have been doing what they could to keep up the theatre community and spirit - virtually at least! Rehearsals for the Scottish play were put on hold multiple times, and mostly took place on Zoom (which was useful but not quite so fulfilling)!
Macbeth will run from Protected content Protected content at 20h and on 4 and 11 June at 14h at the festival.
The one-act plays will be performed in rotation on three evenings at 20.00 during our 'Summer Festival':
Monday 6 June: 'Will.I.Am. Am I?' followed by 'Yellow'.
Tuesday 7 June: 'Yellow' followed by 'Shortly To Go'.
Wednesday 8 June: 'Shortly To Go' followed by 'Will.I.am. Am I?'
It's not all about watching - time to socialise and engage with the theatre community at the Sunday Social! In between the performances, on Sunday 5 June there will be a social family-friendly event, free for ticket-holders. Special Surprises also.
