Beer and perhaps a pizza
It’s time for April’s beer event and this time we have the option of getting together and enjoy a beer or two together with a pizza.
But first a serious remark; during the last couple of events we have an increasing number of guests signing up for our events which is good and we enjoy seeing a lot of members both regulars and first-time attendees. What we unfortunately also have experienced, is an increasing number of no-shows. For a long time, we have been used to see Protected content % of members showing up which is not perfect but at an acceptable level. However recently we have seen just 50 % of members showing up and 50 % no-shows. This is not satisfactory neither to us as consuls nor to the members that show up.
It’s a bit like inviting people to a party and they all accept your invitation but only 50 % show up – no fun, right. We try to plan and book for a certain number of guests and this rate of no-shows makes it very difficult and also realize that other members might just signup because they see that you signed up.
Therefore, we encourage you to sign-up if you plan to attend and we urge you to decline the invitation if you for some reason is not able to attend. The guest list is open until 2 hours before the event start so there is a reasonable time to decline.
That was the serious part and now for the fun part.
This time we have found yet a new place in Copenhagen NV, near Nørrebro Station. They call themselves a beer and pizza laboratory and serve craft beer together with pizzas. The beers are from Ugly Duck Brewing, a subsidiary of Indslev Bryggeri on Funen.
They don’t have a large selection of different beers but the beers they have are quite good. Amongst others they have some interesting barrel-aged beers.
It’s completely up to you if you want to eat here or not, but feel free to join us if you like. At least one of us consuls will eat here so you will not eat alone.
From the link to the homepage you can see the menu and price list, in Danish, but it shouldn’t be that hard to read.
We hope to see a lot of you.
