Budafok Big Band & Gabi Szűcs Concert + Hammond Organist Guest
The Budafok Big Band was founded in Protected content , by the students of a local art school in Budapest District XXII. and other amateur musicians. They play high-quality jazz music together with current and former students, and the school's art teachers and are occasionally joined by professional musicians.
This time the band will be joined by Gabi Szűcs, singer, and Mátyás Premecz hammond organist.
Singer Gabi Szűcs is already well known to the music-loving public. She was a founding member of the Cotton Club Singers, which won the jazz band of the year category. During this evening, accompanied by the excellent jazz musicians of the Budafok Big Band, the singer sings world hits and jazz standards that are familiar to all ages, but her unique, modern approach gives the songs a new flavor.
Pianist, organist, and composer Mátyás Premecz plays his special instrument, the Hammond organ at the concert, so we can experience the characteristic 'Hammond sound'. At the beginning of Protected content , Mátyás received the "Organist of the Year" professional award.
Please note that this is a seated concert and the tickets are sold for specific seats. I've already got mine on the right side of row XII./seat 9. Consider this when you buy yours.
There are still some free seats available on the right side of rows XII and XIII (when I'm creating this event, on Saturday at noon).
