This film, released in Protected content , is based on humorous stories by the famous Russian writer Mikhail Zoshchenko. The action takes place in the Protected content , during the period of the New Economic Policy, and consists of three parts. The combination of Zoshchenko's satirical and concise literary text and Gaïdaï's burlesque style was a great success and the film attracted more than 50 million
spectators the year of its release.
Synopsis: In the first part, Crime and Punishment, a merchant Gorbouchkine is summoned to an investigator. Fearing the imprisonment of her husband and the confiscation of property, his wife decides to sell everything as soon as possible, divorces urgently and marries a neighbor. However, it turns out that Gorbouchkine has been called as a witness and is coming home...
The second story, Fun Adventure, tells of comical situations that happen to those who cheat on their spouses.
In the third part, The Wedding Incident, the young man meets a woman on a tram and they quickly decide to marry. Arrived at his own wedding,
he can't recognize his fiancée...
