Chilled Sunday Lunch at Fourways Farmers' Market
Fourways Farmer's Market is described as the most beautiful outdoor market in Johannesburg. Boasting a floral, tree-filled setting and a haybale picnic lawn, there's lots on offer for a relaxed afternoon. The Sunday market has an amazing selection of vendors selling items such as locally made cheeses, cured meats, sweet treats, jams, freshly squeezed juices, preserves and finally, beautifully handcrafted jewellery, clothing and furniture. The great vibe is helped along with entertainment by quality local bands.
I think the website itself has the best description 'you’ll be hard pressed to find a more relaxing way to spend a Sunday in central Fourways. You’ll be transported away from suburbia, into a vignette of yesteryear country markets. Surrounded by birdsong and butterflies and sipping a craft beer…'
DATE: Sunday 4th November
COST: Entry is free. You pay for food & drink.
So the idea is that we'll chill, maybe shop a little, and have a drink and a bite in this awesome location.
