Summer Reading Operation: "Collective Stoic Reading"
The holiday season is always a good time to get back to those pending readings and start new challenges. However, the distractions are many and it is difficult to maintain the discipline of taking time to read.
Communities such as the Stoa Madrid can be very useful to keep track and push each other to progress in our goals.
Starting on July 27 th, at the Stoa Reading Group we will meet via Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. to read together (out loud or in silence).
We will do a closing session of Massimo Pigliucci's book “How to be Stoic” that we have been reading in the Reading Club, and then we will start reading the Manual for the Happy Life of Epictetus by Pierre Hadot (See photos)
