Lightnight Liverpool 2018
Once a year venues, spaces and people around the city come alive to celebrate Liverpool's cultural activity in one intensive night. There will be a lot of different locations, and different activities, the full details which will be given on the LightNight website on 1 May: Protected content
Because details are now available, I have suggested some changes, given below. Because there is so much to do, it is possible to make changes on the day.
The meeting point is easy to get to from Lime Street station or from Queen's Square bus station. Also, the LightNight Heritage buses run from here. (They are free during the evening and go around most of the event sites.) The start time reflects the start of their circuit.
A route: get a heritage bus from the meeting point down to the Waterfront, seeing some of the events there, then going back through the Baltic Triangle and past the Anglican Cathedral to Hope Street, from where we can go down to St Lukes (the Bombed Out Church) for food (stalls established for the evening) - and/or look at other events in the Hope Street/RC Cathedral area.
I am interested in gathering a group for the ceilidh at Protected content - let me know if you are interested. (You have to pay, unlike most events during the evening.)
On the evening, if you can't see me at first, I will have a LightNight bag.
People who are interested in a longer night can order a ticket to the LightNight After Party online.
Sorry, but you are not allowed to join this Activity Group!
We are afraid that you cannot join, because the Group Consuls have limited access to this Activity Group.
