This is an event that no classical music lover would want to miss! On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Fête de la Musique, the Louvre Museum will resonate to the sounds of one of the most beautiful scores. The Orchestre de Paris will give a free 57-minute concert, in the exceptional setting of the Louvre Pyramid.

From 22h00, the musicians, conducted by Klaus Mäkelä, will perform Anton Bruckner's "Symphonie n°9 en ré mineur WAB 109". This unfinished symphony-cathedral is the last of the Austrian composer, who is "dedicated to God who requires great means and great spaces to unfold in all his monumentality. A symphony-cathedral for a glass cathedral!"
