Visit the London Mithraeum
Mithraism was a mystery religion that focused on the god Mithras and was popular during in the Roman Empire between the 1st and 4th century BC. I first came across Mithraism when I visited one of their many underground temples in Rome. Since then it has intrigued me. From the Mithras temple near Hadrian's Wall to the ones in Iran, it seemed to spread far and wide and yet the cult vanished centuries ago.
I've been meaning to go here for ages but I haven't gotten around to it. So come join me as we explore this reconstructed temple, then head out for coffee somewhere.
Visiting the London Mithraeum is free, and they advise timed entries. But I think for our slot there are more than enough spaces so that we'll get in for when we go there.
