The EU's agricultural policy in times of the climate crisis

About subsidies, guidelines and our future

The agricultural subsidies of the European Union are often criticized because they rely too much on large areas and factory farming and too little on sustainable management. However, agricultural policy has also contributed greatly to acceptance and cohesion between the EU countries. The money is a blessing for rural regions and poor countries - so far, however, they have not contributed enough to biodiversity and soil protection. We learn about the current agricultural policy and how each of us can change it on various themed islands in the style of a World Café.
