Let’s hike Cerro Pan de Azucar
Let’s enjoy a hiking day in Cerro Pan de Azucar, near Piriapolis. The Cerro is almost 400m high and from its top it is possible to enjoy a great view of Piriapolis and the surrounding coast.
The hike is of moderate difficulty along a rocky and (sometimes) muddy path, the total ascent is about 350m and it takes about one and a half hour to cover the 1,5km long path that leads to the top.
We will leave Montevideo in the morning in order to hike the Cerro before noon (we can have lunch on the top), we may then enjoy the rest of the day in Piriapolis before heading back.
