Please keep the food coming so no kittens or cats need to die like Phoenix did.

We were a little late in finding Phoenix. He was fundamentally a very healthy boy, tested negative for everything. His only problem was he was starved to death. His liver was on the point of shutting down and his little body rejected everything that was fed to him.

We had hope for a breakthrough. But despite our best effort and the best professional care that we could give him, he passed away peacefully in his sleep two weeks after he was taken into our care. Phoenix's life didn't have to end this way. If only he wasn't dumped to fend for himself! If only someone had cared a little more! If only someone had given him water and food!

We could not save Phoenix. But we can for the other ones who have been abandoned and are still alive.

We had enough for the Protected content community cats in Al Luqta area ( where Phoenix was found ) for one month from out last effort. Can we pull together again to keep them from starving?

If you can spare one bag of dry cat food, which is like a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, please let us know and drop them off at any one of the following locations ASAP for the attention of Najla/Evenstar:

Tower 1 Porto Arabia Reception the Pearl
Al Tamimi Veterinary Clinic, Katara
Royal Vet Clinic, Opposite Hyatt Plaza

You can also order online at this website and have it delivered to Najla El Kayal Antonios, Apt Protected content , Tower 1, Porto Arabia, the Pearl:

Protected content

We will also collect if you absolutely cannot drop off. But please bear in mind that there are only one or two volunteers doing EVERYTHING.

If you can't spare a bag of food, please be part of the feeding rota! Even one day a week, or however often you like! Every little effort from you WILL lessen the burden on another one of our volunteers who care for the animals all over Doha.
