Dear all,

this is a walk between the scrub and the sea, of great beauty and historical interest, which leads us to the traces of the ancient Etruscan.
Following a relaxing naturalistic itinerary, we will visit the ancient convent of San Quirico, and from here we will reach the historic Via dei Cavalleggeri, a control path used by the military corps which connected the ancient watchtowers.
The route will allow us to enjoy some of the most beautiful places on the Tuscan coast where we can take a dip in the water, such as Cala San Quirico and the wonderful Buca delle Fate.
The walk will end in the delightful village of Populonia, in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the sea where it will be possible to stop for a coffee, an ice cream or a snack.

Here's the characteristics of the trail:
Total length: about 11 km
Total climb altitude: about Protected content
