Koroga, is a uniquely Kenyan style of dining outdoors on (nominally) Indian cuisine. The word means mix or stir in Kiswahili, and koroga is precisely what diners do for themselves with a bounty of chopped ingredients and spices. A bit like camping in the city, parties situate themselves in semi-private huts each outfitted with a charcoal-burning jiko (stove). Ingredients for Egg or Paneer Bhurji Recipe:
Cottage Cheese Protected content Eggs 6pc
Onions chopped 2 medium
Oil 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon
Fresh coriander
Method:
Grate cottage cheese on a plate. Chop green chillies.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and chopped green chillies, sauté well.
Add onions and salt, mix well and cook till onions turn golden.
Add turmeric powder and mix well. Add grated cottage cheese and chopped coriander and mix well.
