Let’s go to the BIG Bachata Social that will be part of the Chicago Loves Bachata Weekender – 1st edition at 10:00 pm at the Dance Center Chicago! For those that would like to have a drink and some food first, let’s gather at 8:00 pm at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro, a nearby Irish Pub! Yes, I know that an Irish Pub doesn’t have any relationship with Bachata, but we will dance better after having some good food and a drink!

Please, let me know through a private message if you plan to attend the dinner at 8:00 pm at this event to make an initial list of attendees to the dinner for the reservation to the restaurant. I will also ask you to confirm your attendance to the dinner a few days before the event. The reason for it is that usually (and unfortunately) we have a high rate of No Shows at InterNations events and is really embarrassing to make a reservation at a restaurant at the busy Saturday evening and left several empty chairs from the group of seats reserved. Also, I know that some of the attendees are interested only in the dancing event. If you don't plan to attend the dinner with the group you don't need to do anything else.

The night party will consist of an amazing line-up of performances and the amazing party with 2 Rooms of Dancing. A Modern/Sensual Bachata Room featuring World Class Bachata Producer and Remixer DJ Dimensions directly from the United Kingdom and a Traditional Bachata Room featuring Chicago’s very own Glen Bisoño DJing directly with resident DJ Carlos Cinta.

For those that would like to improve their bachata dancing skills, there will be a 3hrs Series of Traditional Bachata Workshops focusing on Fundamentals, Musicality, and Interpretation by world-renowned Carlos Cintas from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. Also, there will be a 3hr Bachata Sensual Bootcamp by International Bachata Sensual Instructor The Don and Chicago's Own Nadia Alvarado from 3:30 to 6:30 pm The cost for both workshops is $49 plus service fee and for one workshop is $34.00 plus service fee by May 1st. After that date the cost will increase a 30%. The cost of the workshop includes the participation in the Bachata Social at night.
