Salsa Dancing 101 – The Basic Turns (Via Zoom)
Let’s meet on-line to socialize and continue learning some fundamentals of Salsa dancing. We will practice the basic steps from the previous week and will learn the right and left turns in Salsa.
A key objective for the session is that all participants grasp the concepts and do the turns to continue practicing them during the week and get ready to move forward with some more advanced moves the following week.
Due to the current circumstances we will have no partner dancing; the focus would be on the fundamentals for you to entertain yourself at home learning and practicing a new skill and be more prepared to start dancing Salsa when social distance goes away in the future.
We will start the activity introducing ourselves and talking about our interest or experience (or none) on Salsa dancing. Then, we will continue with the class and finally we would go into conversing mode again to address questions.
It is highly recommended that you make sure that your phone or computer is in a position where you can watch me showing the Salsa steps and following them on your place.
You can access by downloading the zoom app, or software and access the meeting in the link that will be provided soon.
