First Forró Class - an exciting rhythm
This month we will have a Forró class, a popular rhythm of the northeast of Brazil. This class will have 1:30h of duration and cost Protected content .
It is common to associate the origin of the word “Forró” with the English expression "for all". For this version of the origin of the name of the rhythm a story was created: in the 20th century, British engineers, installed in Pernambuco to build a railroad, promoted dances open to the public, that is to say "for all". Thus the people of the Brazilian northeast began to pronounce "for all" as “Forró”.
A dance class goes beyond steps and movements. It is an excellent opportunity to have fun, meet people and brighten up your day.
