Mysteries of Stones: A Hike through Time”
Next Sunday, we invite you to join us on a beautiful hike to explore the mysterious dolmens and menhirs of d’Oppagne and Wéris. These legendary stones, standing for over 5,000 years, are some of the most fascinating remains of the Neolithic period — and we’ll get to walk among them!
Our route is 13.7 km with about Protected content of elevation gain: just enough to feel like an adventure, but still very manageable. Along the way, we’ll pause halfway for a snack break before continuing through this unique and historic landscape. We expect to finish around 14:30, and for those who wish, we can end the day with a well-deserved drink in charming Durbuy.
Please bring snacks and good footwear. This hike is organized on a voluntary basis. While we’ll look out for each other, please remember that everyone is responsible for their own safety and well-being.
